Alert – be vigilant to suspect calls to avoid becoming a victim of fraud

We understand that a number of schools have been targeted by a fraudulent organisation claiming to be an energy supplier.

The calls may suggest that the school is in debt to the energy supplier they are purporting to be calling from and they may try to obtain a direct payment over the phone.

We are taking this opportunity to remind customers that the Zenergi Group acts as your outsourced energy department, always acting in your best interests and protecting you from entering into debt with your energy supplier.

If you receive any such call, please do not engage, instead contact your Relationship Manager who will be pleased to establish the position of your account and advise if any action is required with your energy supplier.

Unfortunately, not all organisations act with the same transparency as Zenergi, and it is a timely reminder to review other underhand tactics you may witness, particularly against the backdrop of some of the most challenging market conditions we have experienced and energy prices at a record high.
