Glastonbury Health Centre offers a comprehensive General Practice service in mid Somerset, ensuring a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

We first started working with Glastonbury Health Centre in the summer of 2016 when we procured new gas and electricity contracts for the practice.
The practice was referred to Zenergi by Ash Lane Medical Business Consulting. The surgery’s Practice Manager had been taking care of its energy contracts and recognised that growing workload was proving a challenge to sourcing competitive energy prices.

Following a meeting with the Practice Manager, we discovered that the practice was on deemed rates, meaning that it was paying far more for its energy than it should be.

We undertook a comprehensive review of supplier prices and contract lengths and provided a comparison for the practice. We helped the Practice Manager to select a contract that suited their energy needs and also allowed them to make a significant saving of £880 on the gas in comparison to the previous contract over a period of three years; and £15,088 on the electricity in comparison to the previous contract over a period of two years.

Our service for the practice also includes bill validation, which means that energy invoices are checked against the agreed contract and any errors are quickly identified and resolved, providing reassurance that the practice is not being overcharged or is paying for unnecessary services, that readings reflect actual consumption, and rates are correct. The surgery’s Practice Manager can also access energy consumption data on Zenergi’s easy-to-use customer portal, to support with monitoring, managing, and reducing energy use.

In addition, Glastonbury Health Centre has been able to take advantage of additional energy services offered by Zenergi, including the installation of a SMART meter for the gas supply as requested.
