Zenergi is removing the administrative burden of the Trust’s energy contracts by aligning contract end dates across the schools. Holy Cross Catholic MAC now has a greater choice of suppliers and the type and length of contract, with all options compared on a like-for-like basis to support budgetary planning and approval. The Trust’s Directors value the increased transparency and flexibility, which means they no longer need to sign up to multi-year contracts six months ahead without confirmation of the price it is committing to, as was the case with its previous provider.

The Trust is also benefitting from Zenergi’s additional services, including bill validation. Zenergi thoroughly checks all energy invoices against the agreed contract, ensuring that any errors are quickly identified and rectified. Holy Cross Catholic MAC did not have access to this service under its previous provider and discovered that it had been overcharged on VAT and CCL at some schools, which Zenergi is now claiming back on its behalf. Zenergi’s bill validation service also includes access to a portal that delivers high quality validated energy data. The easy-to-use system provides granular visibility into energy consumption to support with monitoring, managing, and reducing energy use, to help with accurate budgeting; understanding of consumption patterns; and energy compliance.
