Zenergi has been selected as the energy partner for both Red Kite Learning Trust and Brigshaw Learning Partnership. Zenergi was awarded the energy contracts for each Trust following rigorous tender processes within the ISBL OJEU-compliant energy framework that Zenergi facilitates.
Zenergi is an approved partner to ISBL, ASCL, and BESA, and manages energy procurement, billing and related energy services for more than 2,500 schools and colleges nationally. Competitive pricing; experience and knowledge of energy for schools; coupled with a trusted partnership approach supported the award of the contracts.

Energy Savings
Brigshaw Learning Partnership was procuring its energy as part of a Public Buying Organisation framework. Zenergi supported the Trust’s exit from the framework with a 24-month contract that saved an estimated £18,000 (28%) per annum against its previous gas contract.
Red Kite Learning Trust had been utilising an energy consultant for its previous energy contracts. By procuring its gas through Zenergi, the Trust has saved approximately £70,000 (24%) per annum against its previous gas contract.
Both Trusts will benefit from Zenergi’s full service, including invoice validation; access to a customer portal for visibility of energy usage to support accurate budgeting, along with regular commentary and recommendations from a dedicated account manager; and full support for any energy-related queries managed through to resolution with suppliers.
In addition to procurement for energy and water, the Trusts can also access additional energy related services as part of a complete end-to-end energy package. These services support schools to meet their compliance obligations, including Display Energy Certificates (DECs); Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR); and Air Conditioning Inspections (TM44). Zenergi can also support schools to become more energy efficient, with audits that offer an understanding of energy use, identify opportunities to reduce consumption and associated costs; and help unlock available government funding for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.
