The Phase 4 Public Sector Low Carbon Skills Fund (LCSF) is a grant program designed to help public sector organizations develop and implement heat decarbonisation plans, conduct energy audits, and create carbon reduction strategies. This initiative aims to replace fossil fuels, support net-zero strategies, and promote energy efficiency in public sector institutions. By participating in the LCSF, public sector bodies can access the expert advice and skills required for their energy efficiency and heat decarbonisation projects.

Key Features

Funding for heat decarbonisation plans and detailed designs

Allocated across three grant value ranges, up to a maximum of £1,000,000 per project

Delivered in partnership with Salix and the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS)

Application portal opening on 26 April 2023 at 2 pm for eligible public sector bodies.

Funding Options

Develop or improve a heat decarbonisation plan, including any output specified in the scheme criteria section

Develop standalone detailed design(s) based on pre-existing heat decarbonisation plan(s)

Combine options one and two, providing funding to develop or improve heat decarbonisation plan(s) and create standalone detailed design(s) based on pre-existing heat decarbonisation plan(s)
