Regular social events
As well as creating a happy working environment, we also arrange a number of social events throughout the year to help grow the bond within teams and across the business.
Strat Day is an annual event that brings the whole team together in January to celebrate the year’s successes and set the objectives for the year ahead, followed by a ‘black tie’ awards gala dinner and party.
We are really proud of our Investors in People Silver Accreditation, particularly as only 15% of the organisations that are assessed by IIP achieve silver.
Our overall IIP survey results show that Zenergi outperformed the average benchmark for all IIP accredited organisations, meaning our people are more positive than many others within the IIP community, which is hugely encouraging.
Our Zen Academy plays a major role in personal and professional development and includes seven programmes aimed at developing the skills and practices needed to be successful.
We strongly believe in supporting each of our Zenergi family to become the best they can during their Zenergi journey. We are committed to providing a positive environment where people can grow and develop both professionally and personally.
We take our time to invest in good people who can play their part in helping us achieve our goals as they discover that progression is about learning something new, achieving what you never thought you could, and gaining satisfaction from moving forward on a daily basis.
We are proud to have nurtured and developed the careers of many, and are proud that, even when people have come to the end of their Zenergi journey, we have played our part to develop them and allow them to use their expertise for the next stage …
Recently one of the team members left Zenergi to pursue a new challenge and below is an extract from their resignation letter, highlighting why our staff retention is so high:
“I wish to put on record that my time at zenergi has been very enjoyable, I have learnt new skills and have had the honour of working with the best team led by the most competent, brilliant, and empathetic manager I have ever had.
From my interview, all the way to the present day, every single member of the zenergi family that I have had the immense pleasure to work with, has always been supportive and fun to work alongside.
I want to also say that I have never regretted my decision to join zenergi, as unlike working for suppliers, I was not just a number but part of a family. This was evident throughout lockdown, where the CQS team supported each other every day during our regular teams meetings, which I strongly believe helped all of us get through a very tough time and for that I want to say a massive Thank You.”
