As part of this commitment, we were delighted to recently welcome A-Level student Jasmeher Gabba to our Brierley Hill office for a week-long work experience placement. Jasmeher, who attends Queen Mary’s Grammar School, spent time with various members of our team, gaining insight into the day-to-day life of an energy consultant and exploring the diverse career pathways available in the sustainability sector.
During my time in the office I learnt about the behind-the-scenes work of an energy consultant as well as more about the different pathways that led team members to the company."

We know that real-world experience can be a powerful catalyst for young people considering careers in energy, sustainability, and climate change. By offering opportunities to engage directly with professionals in the industry, we aim to demystify the sector and inspire confidence in those considering joining it.
Beyond individual placements, our outreach also extends into local schools. Through ongoing partnerships with St James High School and Linlithgow Academy, members of our team regularly deliver engaging sessions focused on career development. These interactive workshops cover topics such as exploring career pathways, mastering interview techniques, and building strong CVs, equipping students with the tools they need to succeed.
