The Phase 4 Public Sector Low Carbon Skills Fund (LCSF) is a crucial grant program designed to support public sector organisations in developing robust heat decarbonisation plans, performing energy audits, and creating carbon reduction strategies. This funding initiative is part of the broader push towards fossil fuel replacement and achieving a net-zero strategy.
By participating in the LCSF, public sector bodies can access expert advice and skills required for energy efficiency works and heat decarbonisation projects. Salix, along with the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS), plays a vital role in the delivery of the Low Carbon Skills Fund.
The application portal for the Phase 4 LCSF will open on 26 April 2023 at 2 pm, with all eligible public sector bodies encouraged to apply. Grant value caps have been introduced in this phase, with funding distributed across three grant value ranges, up to a maximum of £1,000,000 per project.
We at Zenergi can help your organisation prepare for applying to the LCSF and deliver the necessary packages for successful heat decarbonisation and energy efficiency projects financed by the fund. By collaborating with Zenergi, public sector bodies can streamline their efforts to secure public sector grants and contribute to a greener future.
