Zenergi Supports its Total Gas & Power Account Manager in the PhysCap Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge

So this is from Victor…

Well what can I say… it was the perfect day with great weather so we were truly blessed as we knew Jenny was with us in sprit looking after us all day. We all started the day quite nervous but also excited about the challenge ahead.

Everyone worked really well as a team as we knew this was not going to be easy but did not realize just how hard and tricky the three peaks challenge is. With the new route/ paths this makes it a lot easier as you do not have to wade through the boggy area at the bottom of Ingleborough and also the crazy limestone paving, but this did add couple of miles to the route, and we actually completed just short of 30 miles. So I had to tell a couple of white lies to set attainable goals, so sorry for that, and I think I’ll always been know now as ‘ just one mile more ‘.

Once again thank you for all your support, so far in our group we smashed our target of £5k and we’ve actually brought in just over £6k, so thank you to all for you tremendous and very welcome support and a big mention to Sam for setting up the page. In total we’ve actually raised just over £60,000 which is absolutely amazing. Daniel Gray who is chairman for the Physcap charity told us on the day that we’d smashed all expectations. So we are now able to build a special needs playground / area in a disused part of a special needs school and we’ll be able to donate this on behalf of Physcap in Jenny’s memory. This will only take up a third of the donations so all the rest will go to help all the good cause and support Physcap give.
