The Zenergi peace of mind

The Zenergi peace of mind

Zenergi is delighted to continue its preferred partner status with ASCL as their energy partner. Now in its seventh year, this fantastic relationship has assisted hundreds of ASCL members to save thousands of pounds through effective energy procurement, invoice validation, and energy contract management. The energy markets are dynamic and fast moving, so in this blog, we bring you a quick ‘snippet’ of how the energy markets are sitting currently.

Over the last 18 months, we have been fortunate enough to have experienced reductions in energy prices. However, as you may have heard, wholesale energy prices will be increasing in 2017, putting prices up across the board. There are several reasons for this, including the fluctuating prices of oil and coal, as well as the value of the pound – the resulting unpredictability generating a period of uncertainty in 2017.

At Zenergi, we don’t believe in unpredictable costs for our customers. That’s why our contracts always take changes of circumstance into account and, wherever possible, fix them for the contract period. We want to protect you from future increases so that you’ll always know what you’re supposed to be paying and won’t receive any unpleasant surprises when you open your bill (this, of course, doesn’t account for the industry introducing any unannounced new charges, which would be equally surprising for us!).

It’s a sad inevitability that wholesale price changes mean higher costs for consumers. Local Authorities are quoting increases as high as 10-20%. However, as energy consultants, we believe we can minimise the difficulties and confusion of this process. While many providers will simply offer a guide to their price increase as an ambiguous percentage, we offer you a more detailed analysis of the changes to your energy bill. We will let you know exactly what you can expect to pay. So, even if your bills have increased, you’ll be prepared and can rest assured that you shouldn’t receive any further price variations.

We don’t believe customers should be given vague estimates of how much they’ll be charged for energy – we think customers deserve to know exactly how much they’re spending before they spend it. That’s the difference Zenergi brings – peace of mind and respect for our customers.

If you’d like to know more about Zenergi or the wholesale energy price increases, please feel free to contact us! We look forward to hearing from you!
