We are delighted to be able to inform you that today Zenergi have welcomed SB Energy into the Zenergi Group, a likeminded business that has also been focussed on serving the Education sector. Formed in 2009 by Arran Craney and Paul Brown and operating out of a central Manchester office, SB have been extremely successful in winning schools business, predominantly Independent schools and Multi Academy Trusts, and have just over 100 customers across c800 sites. One of the reasons for their success to date is due to the Flexible Electricity and Gas basket products they have structured, which has performed well for their customers in a volatile market and something we believe will add value to our customers and our specialised proposition.
The combination of the businesses is great news for SB customers whom will be able to receive the benefits of the Zen Way customer service culture and fantastic dedicated account management, including invoice validation where appropriate, whilst in turn enabling Zenergi customers to benefit from an established collective flex basket option. We look forward to welcoming Arran and Paul into the Zen family and can confirm SB Energy will continue to trade under its own brand as part of the Zenergi Group for the remainder of this year.
