In this session, we helped you understand how to identify your school’s energy consuming areas in order to develop a plan for decarbonising your school building and engaging your stakeholders in the journey to net zero. With the closure of traditional interest-free funding vehicles under Salix, we’ll provide an update on options to achieve your school’s objectives, including how to prepare for potential future rounds of the Salix Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme. We’ll summarise some success stories of schools that have gained funding for works that have improved the school building, while offering long-term energy and carbon savings. This session is essential for any school business manager wanting to understand how to future-proof their school with a strategic plan of decarbonisation works.
