Our Electric Car Salary Sacrifice Scheme is live!

Our Electric Car Salary Sacrifice Scheme is live!

Climate change is accelerating, meaning we all need to reflect on how to lower our personal carbon footprint.

At Zenergi, we want to help our Zen family commit to a sustainable lifestyle and lower their emissions, which is why we have introduced our Electric Car Salary Sacrifice Scheme, Electric Dreams. Provided by Octopus Electric Vehicles, the scheme allows our team to get a new electric vehicle through salary sacrifice, making it a great value option, with no up-front costs and a simple monthly fee.

The average petrol car in the UK produces the equivalent of 174 grams of CO2 per kilometre, while diesel cars emit roughly 168 grams. In comparison, the average electric vehicle emits three times less, making it a considerably more sustainable mode of transport to cont. Other benefits of an Electric Vehicle, just to name a few, include zero tailpipe emissions, free or discounted parking in certain areas, savings on maintenance and repair, exemption from road tax and no congestion charges.

Undoubtedly, record-breaking petrol and diesel prices are also making Electric Vehicles more appealing than ever before. Even with the government’s recent cut of 5p per litre, the financial pressure from fuelling our vehicles is still being heavily felt.

Our Electric Dreams scheme offers a choice of more than 30 cars from Tesla’s and the Porche Taycan, to the Nissan LEAF, there is plenty to choose from! In terms of the contract, this is a completely hassle-free and flexible process, designed to tailor to the preference of our team. Included in the monthly cost is the car, all servicing and maintenance, breakdown cover, insurance, and the support from the Octopus EV team as we make the switch to electric.

Zen Family member Debbi Dickerson has taken delivery of her vehicle and says: “Purchasing a new car is always very exciting, but knowing I will also be helping reduce my emissions, makes it extra special. I was impressed at how quick and easy the process was, and I love my new car!” – Debbi Dickerson

Speaking of the introduction of the scheme, Zenergi’s CEO Graham Cooke, says: “The Zen Way means more than just working together to achieve great things. It also means playing our part in protecting the environment we all live in and, ultimately, our planet. Providing our team with electric vehicle options is one part of that commitment.”
