Powering a Sustainable Future outlines Zenergi’s commitments to improving the environment we live in.
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Social Value Strategy, outlining our commitment to creating a more sustainable future for the next generation and helping to solve some of the biggest challenges facing our planet – from tackling climate change, to eradicating poverty, enhancing health and wellbeing or achieving equal opportunities for all.
‘Powering a Sustainable Future’ integrates Zenergi’s environmental and social value ambitions and commitments into our core business strategy, decision making and operational activities. Increased transparency and accountability mean we will share our progress in reducing our environmental impact and enhancing our role within society. The strategy outlines how Zenergi will address the challenges we all collectively face, with long-term commitments focussed across four key areas, Zen Planet; Zen People; Zen Community; and Zen Customers.
Alongside detailed commitments and timescales to achieve them, the strategy outlines three pledges:
- To embed Social Value into Zenergi’s everyday decision making, delivering benefits to society, and regularly reporting on progress.
- To work with partners who align with Zenergi’s objectives and integrity standards.
- To combat climate change through Zenergi’s own environmental footprint and by supporting customers with their own journeys.
