300 Years of Leadership and Innovation

Zenergi Helps Celebrate 300 Years of Leadership and Innovation

Zenergi is proud to feature in the commemorative book, 300 Years of Leadership and Innovation.

The book, which highlights achievements and progress across British society, culture, politics, technology and commerce, is fully illustrated and authored by a team of distinguished academics and award-winning writers.

Produced by the History of Parliament Trust, one of the most respected and authoritative research projects in British history, together with publisher St James’s House, the publication celebrates leadership in Britain and beyond over the past 300 years.

More than 700 people attended the launch of the book at Westminster Abbey, timed to coincide with the 300th anniversary of the appointment of Britain’s first prime minister, Robert Walpole, in 1721, and in the year of Her Majesty the Queen’s 95th birthday.

Zenergi is featured in the sustainability chapter. The chapter gives voice to a handful of organisations and individuals that are paving the way in sustainability. It shines a light on the efforts of organisations working to proactively reverse the effects of climate change, which continue to dominate the planet.

Graham Cooke, CEO, illustrates how Zenergi is taking responsibility for helping organisations reach Net Zero. The book also discusses Zenergi’s ‘Climate Crisis’. A non-profit game designed to engage children in learning about climate change and protecting the planet, in a way that is fun and educational. It can be played for free in any browser here.

Additionally, the feature highlights Zenergi’s commitment to giving back to the community, such as through our annual #ReadyZenGrow sunflower campaigns; our contribution to the Woodland Trust; our links to charities and communities; and in providing schools with laptops during the pandemic.

Commenting on the release, Graham said: “It is an honour to be invited to feature in this prestigious publication alongside other leading organisations. Appearing in the book has enabled us to reflect on how much we have achieved as we look to move forward with our ambitious plans for the future.”
