A TM44 Air Conditioning Inspection is a legal requirement for air conditioning systems with an effective rated output of 12kW or more. It will review the efficiency of the system, check for faults and provide advice on how to make it more cost effective to run.

But our survey revealed significant savings could be achieved from general maintenance and adjusting time schedules.

• Upgrading all chillers at a smaller site offered a saving of £337,000 per year, equivalent to 27% of total running costs
