The new £1 billion Public Sector Decarbonisation fund is open: Can we help you gain funding for energy-efficient building improvements?
The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has launched a £1 billion Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme that is to be delivered through Salix Finance.
The fast-track programme is divided into two parts; the Low Carbon Skills Fund which finances a survey to assess the opportunities for the grant; and the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme, which allows public sector organisations to apply for grant funding to improve energy and carbon saving within their buildings and the identified heat decarbonisation, building structure improvements, and related energy efficiency measures.
There is a limited window to access the free survey and funding for identified projects, so we advise you to act quickly if you would like to explore the opportunity. The deadline for applying for a free survey within the Low Carbon Skills Fund is 4 December, with final submissions for a grant within the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme due by 11 January.
