Zenergi appoints Leigh McGarry as Director of Engineering

Zenergi has announced the appointment of Leigh McGarry as its new Director of Engineering, marking a significant step in the company’s continued growth and commitment to delivering innovative energy solutions.

In his new role, Leigh will lead Zenergi’s engineering strategy and oversee the development and delivery of technical solutions that support clients in reducing energy consumption, improving sustainability, and achieving their net-zero ambitions.

Leigh brings extensive experience in engineering leadership, project delivery, and energy infrastructure. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for driving operational excellence, leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, and delivering complex projects across the energy and utilities sectors.

Leigh added: “My career began in the Royal Navy, first as a Clearance Diver and then as an Aeronautical Engineer working on Harrier jump jets. After eight years of service, I moved into civil aviation as an aircraft engineer before transitioning into an M&E consultancy, where I oversaw complex technical projects across London. Most recently, I served as Head of Projects, where I was responsible for leading a large technical team.”
